Sometimes getting free images by doing a Google search can be quite tough, right? Trying to search for images using different keywords until you get some vague images that loosely fit into the content can be challenging.

And then how can one forget the copyright restrictions on certain images that make the task of finding the appropriate images a mammoth one! After a fanatic search, what remains as residue hardly meets our needs.

The task was getting impossible until one day we decided to search for websites from where we could download and use high quality images absolutely free. We would like to share this list with you, so that it saves you a lot of time and effort in finding perfect images.

Launched in 2013, the site posts 10 handpicked photos every 10 days. It allows you to copy, modify, distribute and use photos for free.

2. Pexels.com

It’s a huge free image library that collects images from other free image sites. You can get high-quality images for your content from here.

3. Picjumbo.com

This site offers free images for personal as well as commercial use. You can subscribe to the site in order to get new photos, which is delivered to you by email.

4. Flickr.com

Flickr has a huge collection of images. You can also share, save and organize photos. You have to register with Flickr.com in order to find images. However, you have to link the images back to the photographers who have clicked them.

5. Picography.co

It has a stunning collection from where you can use high-resolution images for free. You don’t need to credit the photographer when you use any image.

6. FreeMediaGoo.com

You can use their images as they don’t have any copyright restrictions. You can get high-quality background images, photos and textures from this website.

7. FreePhotosBank.com

It is another good site to get free images. There is no need to create an account. You can go ahead and download as many free images as you want.

8. Jaymantri.com

Jay Mantri is another site from where you can download images for free. Every Thursday, they post 7 new photos.

9. Picsearch.com

If you don’t know what you are looking for, then Picsearch is apt for you. Its powerful search engine lets you search for images by indexing pages for you.

10. Search.CreativeCommons.org

You don’t have to register to use images from this site, but beware of copyright issues before using any images.

 

11. Lifeofpix.com

It’s a free site where you can use images without attributing it to the photographer.

12. Freerangestock.com

It’s another site where you can get free images and absolutely no need to credit the photographers if you use their images.

13. Blogphoto.tv

You can get many images; however, you have to check the image restrictions before you use any of them. They also have templates, article planners, etc., to help you with your content marketing.

14. Pixabay.com

It’s a very good site where you can search and sort the images you want. It has no restrictions and you can use the images anywhere.

15. Sxc.hu

You can get plenty of images on this site, but there are a lot of restrictions as well. Sorting is a problem, so you will get a good search engine that will help you to search for appropriate images.

16. Gratisography.com

If you want high-quality free images then this is the site for you. You will find images in one page and they are free.

17. Deviantart.com

It is one of the leading communities where you can find free images. In order to use their images, you have to give credit to the photographer.

 

 

18. Gettyimages.in

GettyImages uploads around 35 million images in a month. So, it is a place you can get a wealth of high-quality images. You need to click on the icon of any image and paste the code on your page.

19. Photodune.net

Do you want your website to look different? Then, you can use images from Photodune by paying a reasonable price.

20. Superfamous.com

Superfamous Studios have an amazing collection of images to choose from. However, you need to credit the photographer if you are using images from their site.
