What comes to your mind when you hear the word ‘typography’? Any clue? No idea? Still thinking? Well, ‘typography’ simplified is all about language – what language looks like! Got the picture? Yes, it helps words speak for themselves and it is an art that makes language visible. Creative graphic designers simply love using typography for adding emotion to communication. A nice clean and easy read is what we all look forward to and here is where the font size makes all the difference. If the font size is small, many of us might not even give it a glance – why strain our already overstrained eyes! We wouldn’t want our contact lenses to pop out with all the straining.
The key to a powerful presentation is the correct font size, not too small that it looks like ants are crawling on the page; and not too large either as if the letters were just waiting to pounce on you. A really small font size becomes hard to read and interpret the message – no one would be sitting with a magnifying glass, pouring over words! Typography, if used correctly, projects the message in a very pleasant manner.
We can highlight certain text by using different COLORS, FONTS, etc. Viewers read and perceive the highlighted text first. They pick up the important points from the presentation real fast.

Typography creates a perfect harmony in a presentation. A presentation gets a different look and feel when there is standard usage of the font. Fonts that are well aligned and well proportioned give a synchronized and neat look.
